Many exciting dynamic water venues lie within a short paddling distance of easily-accessed beaches.

Your Coaching Team

Kelly Marie Henry

Kelly has kayaked throughout her adult life, from early days as a sea kayak guide in the San Juan Islands, to achieving the highest American Canoe Association sea kayaking instructor award, in California’s challenging surf and rock garden environments.

Kelly is a passionate surf kayaker and represented Team USA at the 2017 World Surf Kayak Championships in Northern Ireland. She is also a capable white water kayaker, with Class III-IV river experience in the USA and Europe. Kelly’s expedition experience includes a 6-week sea kayak adventure in Taiwan’s wilderness coastal environment.

Kelly loves sharing her knowledge and experience with students, who appreciate her skill, enthusiasm and focus on active learning.

Nick Cunliffe

Nick has over 25 years of experience as a kayaker, guide and coach, in North Wales and throughout the world. He holds the highest British Canoeing sea kayak coaching award, with an extensive background in rough water sea kayaking, white water, and surf.

Nick’s experience includes kayak coaching at all levels of the sport, in the UK, Europe, North & South America. His expedition experience includes wilderness journeys in Patagonia, Alaska and Scandinavia. Oceans or rivers, he’s always seeking the next kayaking adventure!

Nick’s coaching philosophy places his students at the centre of the experience, to achieve new goals and to reach your kayaking potential. Specialising in rough water sea kayak skills, he can help to take your paddling to the next level!

Together we love the excitement of our ocean, river and mountain adventures - our favourite kayaking playgrounds include historic Bardsey Island, Anglesey’s exciting tide races, and the fantastic white water rivers in Snowdonia.

We also love exploring our local mountains - trail running in the Carneddau, scrambling adventures in the Glyders, and rock climbing in the Llanberis valley.

‘Wales never fails’ in its amazing range of outdoor adventures, beautiful wild environment and magical Celtic atmosphere!
